Yoga here is a slow, calming class where the focus is on relaxation, deep stretches and the rhythm of the breath.
Slow down, let go, recharge
The calm tempo and the quiet room help you step out of the daily rush. The class starts with a short arrival and attention to the breath, followed by gentle mobilisation, then simple, easy-to-follow poses and longer held stretches. The practice closes with guided relaxation, so the body and the mind can fully let go. The class gently supports the body and the nervous system.
This class is for you if
- you want to slow down and go home recharged,
- you want gentle movement after desk work or an active day,
- you are looking for a calmer complement to dynamic training,
- you want to meet conscious breathing and relaxation.
You do not need to be flexible, and no previous yoga experience is required. As a beginner, arrive a few minutes early and tell the instructor it is your first class.
What should you bring?
We provide all the equipment; you only need comfortable clothes. We recommend grippy socks; water and a small towel come in handy.
Common questions about this class
Do I need to be flexible for yoga?
No. The goal is not the perfect execution of a predefined pose but conscious, comfortable movement and breathing.
How intense is the class?
This is one of our slower, calming classes: the emphasis is on mobilising, stretching, breathing and relaxation, not on a high pulse.
Can I come as a beginner?
Yes, the slow tempo and the easy-to-follow exercises make it suitable for beginners.
Where is the yoga class in Szeged?
Studio classes run in our Attila utca room, in the city centre.
What does yoga add to Pilates?
Pilates strengthens and stabilises, yoga stretches, releases and slows you down, so the two complement each other well. If you come to reformer classes regularly, a yoga class alongside them is a good counterbalance, especially if you sit at a desk all day.
